High school and college students who need help with math are invited to sign up for a “Math-a-thon” that will be held on Saturday, April 7 at Santa Ana College.
One-on-one tutoring will be available in a range of skills levels, including basic mathematics, algebra, trigonometry, geometry and calculus, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sessions are scheduled to begin each hour.
The program is sponsored by MANA de Orange County, a Latina leadership organization, and Santa Ana College GEAR UP.
Registration is mandatory, and organizers will need to know such information as a student’s name, school, math course, email and phone number.

Tutors will come from Orange Coast College, Fullerton College, Cal State Long Beach, Santa Ana College, and include MANA President Eduardo Arismendi-Pardi, a math professor at Orange Coast College.
